FACT or OPIONION

The following presentation is for use in class. It will present the principle of fact and opinion and give opportunities for the students to recognize and create both.

Fact or Opinion

Activity: Divide into groups, giving each group some short text. Together they will go through and highlight fact in one color, and opinion in another color.

Core Standards: Grades 3-5, standard 2: the language of language arts. Education technology standard 5: Use technology tools (e.g., multimedia authoring, presentation, web tools, digital cameras, scanners) for individual and collaborative writing, communication, and publishing activities to create knowledge products for audiences inside and outside the classroom.

 

The Water Cycle

In our 4th grade class we learned the basic terminology and process of the water cycle. We also learned about how the water cycle applies right here in our community.
